Does anyone have any free FTP tranfer software or now how to set it up on FrontPage? I have a website that is being hosted. I am going to use the IPSwitch trial for now unless someone else has anything around the same stuff.

Thanks,

Dave

You could always just use the command line ftp utility in windows!

No Cute FTP for bratwurst. He is a real nerd! :p

Frontpage has an FTP upload feature I am pretty sure. I couldn't tell you exactly how to use it. I prefer to stay away from Frontpage.

If you go to tucows.com or snapfiles.com there are plenty of freeware and shareware FTP clients. I like LeechFTP but it is not supported anymore. I think you can still find it for free on one of those sites though.

Actually I have wsftp installed on my computer but I rarely ever use that. I just use the ftp functionality built into windows explorer. I just go to run, type in ftp://some.site.com and drag and drop the files just like between two folders on my hard drive. Works good enough for anything I have had to do.
