right, but it is a short term one season issue...only affects the players via cap, but not against what they are set to earn this year...for those under contract anyway.

Not that it means anything but the Cardinals called me today (again) to make sure we didn't have any questions. (Even though I paid months ago, they've certainly ramped up the customer service I'll give them that)

Anyway he asked me if I had any questions so I made the obligatory "Make the lockout end!" joke and he said:

"Well all we can say is that we're expecting good news by the end of this week."

so hopefully that's not just a tease, maybe they know something good.
