I'm struggling to get through the 1st season. It's bizarre and not sure it's scratching that new show itch for me.

I just finished the first season last night. I am really liking this show so far. I couldn't imagine having to wait two years after that cliffhanger in the last episode. I'm going to start season 2 tonight.

This season feels a bit all over the place. Not that I am not enjoying it but it does feel a little less focused than last season.

Yeah… it’s felt like a slog/stall. The last episode 8 I barely even paid attention and if you told me that was the last episode of the series and it got cut short, I really wouldn’t care because I’ve got no mojo to watch the finale.

The only motivation I see for watching a finale would be the end of the episode where Harmony and Mark almost appeared to have the conversation about what is really going on but they didn't. Hoping that SOMETHING gets revealed.

Episode 8 was a total snooze fest, yeah. Still, I'm excited for the finale.

It feels like this season has just been about dropping one or two puzzle pieces per episode. They don’t make a ton of sense now, but hopefully (key on hopefully) when the complete puzzle is shown, each puzzle piece will show their significance.

This series is definitely great at getting anticipation sky high for the next season. I didn’t think the season 2 finale was as epic as season 1 (she’s alive!), but it was still really good.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. It even subverted my expectations to an extent. As I'm usually good at nailing how plot points will go, that was a refreshing experience.

Agreed. Always nice to see the best episode of a season being the finale. The whole thing was pretty brilliant.

I was pissed, though. There was still a lot of viewing time left, and it seemed like a stopping point, and I was all, "You sonsabitches aren't ending now, are you?" lol Good clirfhanger, even if I hated it.

Yeah I had the exact same reaction. Very intrigued about how the one character will be integrated into the story:

Now that Gemma can actually BE Gemma, and will likely fight to get Mark's Outtie back. Possibility for some juicy plots from a completely different perspective.

Oh and absolutely loved the hallway fight scene, which was so sudden and gory and surprising. The end of that particular sequence (in the elevator) made me shout in surprise.

Not when the the rest of the season is so unfocused. Luckily, this last episode just did enough to save the season for me. It does setup a very intriguing scenario for Season 3. It also moved the plot along unlike most of the season.

I'm confused. My entire post was about the finale. So you are saying the finale doesn't qualify to be brilliant because the episodes before it were not?

It sounded like you were inferring the entire season was brilliant or the best meaning the rest was pretty good. If that was not what you were saying cool. I really thought most of the season felt like filler as if they still needed to establish the world the story was taking place in. That's how if felt to me.

No, no, I did like the season more than most it appears, but I was specifically referring to the brilliance of the finale, which I loved.
