Minnesota MLB is questionable, plus Kevin Smith did pretty well against the vikings defense last weeks, and lets face it he's no Frank Gore.

However.......Bernard Berrian does scare me, but then Again Favre has only thrown 1 pass over 20 yards......

I think the Vikings win but will not cover the spread. SF defense seems to be for real. The 9ers will not be able to run like last week so points will be few.

IMO, AP is going to expose the 49ers. I recall that 2 years ago, 49ers went 2-0 and finished the season 5-11 with essentially the same personnel.

Agreed! It's nice to see a Whiners fan with common sense.

The Whiners are an up and coming and I really believe HC Singletary will turn things around there. The defense has been very good since he's taken over and that will only continue with him as HC. Their only real weakness is their passing game. I'm leaning towards them not being good enough to beat a Vikings team quite yet, but it should be very close.

What a combination of coaching and CONDITIONING in the 9ers.Its unreal how every player on that team has gotten better.You can't do it any better than that.What if they had a star first round wide reciever to add to that team?

If Singletary keeps this up,he will be one of the biggest coaching surprises in my eyes for a very long time.He has surrounded himself with very good people.That is what a TEAM looks like.Making the very MOST of what they have.Its unreal after the nightmare that came before him.

Its gonna come down to Dec.14th and us beating them with a passing game we did'nt have the first time around.By then the pass blocking will be able to stop anyone and the pass rush will be a league surprise along with the run stopping ability we now possess.

Jones-Drew is leading the league today in rushing after being totally shut down last week.Plus is was against a very good team he ran on.Our guys should not get cocky but realize what they can do when they play together.I only wish we could stay healthy.MORE
