Hi folks I'm a Laker fan but I still love Shaq. I haven't followed him much this year but after looking at some boxscores and recaps it looks know that he and his team are doing well.

Does he look different from years past? is there a bounce in his step that was missing last year? Do you think he can keep this up the rest of the year?

Kinda OT: I don't think Shaq deserved a flagrant foul.

Well there's my first post :D

Right now Shaq is playing like the Shaq of old which is sort of surprising since a lot of the media had written him off until this season. He has that bounce back in his his step and is the focus of the Suns offense. If Shaq can keep it up the Suns look tough. Maybe Shaq was written off prematurely. I can only hope Shaq holds up but he appears in great shape and brings an intensity this season to the Suns they have lacked.

crazy. Did he lose a lot of weight? I know he always has a nagging toe and calf injury...did he get that taken care of?

i wouldn't say lose a lot of weight (and i wouldn't want that either), but he's in basketball/brawlin' shape. as for the nagging injuries, the one i'm worried about isn't any of those things you mentioned. the most recent one (hip) is what i'm worried about but it looks like he's ok. plus lots of his recurring injuries were according to suns medics, flexibility issues. hopefully it stays that way...

I'm not sure if Shaq has lost weight or turned some of the weight into more muscle. He sure looks fit and is definitely in basketball shape. His temperament reflects this as well. Shaq is not taking anything from anyone. I sure hope it lasts. I'm not familiar with any current injuries.

Shaq is playing great lately. I'm sure there are many Shaq fans out there who will find this site and want to know his status, especially with the Laker game coming up.

Shaq seems focused to me and has his moves and touch in close which was missing last year.

I have a feeling Shaq is going to feel quite "up" for the Lakers game, and will be demanding for the rock. A lot.

I just think that Shaq is like superman. He can save the world with one hand tied behind his back. We should resign Shaq to a 6 year max contract.

I told everyone here last year he would be a LOT better after an off season with our trainers. Look below!

Honestly tho, when Shaq sees Bynum on the court he's gonna have that look he usually has when he's waiting at a buffet line. I can tell you from last year Bynum is not the same guy. Yea he's averaging 3 blocks a game but most of them have come from help defense. He has had his moments where he has blocked opposing center's shots going one on one (for some reason he owns Chris Kaman lol) but he still is afraid to jump out of the building like he did last year and trust his knees...and of course there's still conditioning issues as well as he's still rounding into game shape.

Offensively he's not gonna do anything against Shaq one on one...watch for a whole lot of Kobe being the decoy and lobs to big Andrew for some easy layups.

Uh, wow. Can I get SOME respect around here? I mean really...this is getting annoying fast. Quit it.

That isn't me and I never posted on a Lakers forum, and I don't care if you believe me.

I have posted on 2 basbetball forums since I have been alive, the Miami Heat's and this one.

Thank you every much.

Shaq still moves ridiculously fast, his agility, vision, strength are all there. He may just get tired faster but he will give you productivity if you use him right.

:stupid:

The Andrew stuff makes me laugh pretty hard.

Andrew, it's cool man.

Only thing worse than demanding respect on the internet is being a eThug.
