...and it's not like Shaq has a history of butting heads and burning bridges with teamates, coaches, and management.
He's even upped his game this year by courting the Lakers for the 2010 season before he even starts his 2009 season with the Cavs. Shaq is a douche.

Shaq..... I told you so!!!!!

You quoted a post which successfully contradicts the "Shaq is a cancer" garbage and you don't even attempt to refute it? Good job.

You'd have to be a delusional Laker homer to infer that this non-story of proves O'Neal as a terrible malcontent that you predicted. Oh that's right, you are.

You suggested he'd throw the Suns under the bus somehow, single-handedly cause all kinds of horrific trouble and he hasn't done that. This is the best you could come up with. Sorry but you are wrong.

Successfuly contradicts? Ohhh, the looking at videos posted on suns.com? Laughable. What do I have to refute? There is no shortage of articles on all the troubles he has had with players, coaches, and management on every team he has played for. You have to be a delusional Shaq supporter to not to realize that.

I never said he would "single-handedly cause all kinds of horrific trouble". I suggested he would cause trouble. He obviously did. He obviously has on every team. If you want to toss "horrific" and other adjectives in there to bolster you point of view fine. Don't attrubute them to me. I suggested he would do the same with the suns. He has. He already has with the Cav's. It's his MO and most non delusional people see it.

It will continue and only get worse until the time Shaq retires as more of an embarassment than he has already become.

And the things he has said publicly. And the things said about him publicly. Why, not too long ago he praised Steve Kerr for being honest. You ignored that of course. How is a trash article made up by Boivin more believable than evidence straight from his teammates?

Except the Suns.

Nice grab at semantics. Keep it up, you might convince yourself. You pointed to things in the past, editorialized about how bad they were, and then said it would happen with the Suns. It hasn't.

You told us and still are wrong. Shaq was a model teammate. All of the coaches and team mates had no issues with him while he was here. You claimed that he would implode the team and blah blah blah.

You were wrong. None of that happened. A disagreement about who should get credit for a show that both of them pretty much copied from Dhani's show hardly points out any points you were trying to make.

Once again, trying to make a point that doesn't stick. :biglaugh:

How do you know this? where you in the locker room or practice every day? Shaq is very media savvy so be careful in believing all you read.

If the leader of the team is appalled by his lack of integrity (off the court), you don't think that doesn't carries over (to on the court)? Sure, they played nice and smiled at the cameras but it's human nature to be distrustful of someone who backstabs you.

For the same reason we knew Shawn Marion was being a malcontent. For the same reason we heard Raja was being a malcontent. For the same reason we heard Nash bitching about Porter. No matter how media savvy you are, this stuff leaks out. Plus, when listening to interviews with other guys on the team, watching video (behind the scenes stuff) etc....it all appeared genuine. Not to mention I have heard repeatedly from the radio and print media in the locker rooms after practices and games that guys and Shaq were always kidding around having a good time. By all accounts he was a good locker room guy. Playing nice and smiling for the camera only goes so far when you have media in and out of that locker room on a daily basis.
