Sharing your games on XBONE

So I found a workaround for sharing games , its just a little tricky. Going to be doing this with a friend so we can split the cost of games.

basically you set your "home consoles" at your friends and they do the same at your house. Then they can play all of your games at their house plus all of their games on their GT and vice versa. Its all explained in the link.

because of this I will now have Mortal Kombat since my buddy bought it =D

Future games we can just pay $30 each and both have it right away. So stoked.

Just put my buddies gamertag on mine and it's legit. Now just need to put mine on his. Downloading his mortal kombat and Madden right now

works great for both sides, can play each other on the same copy of the game through xbox live. no issues. Super cool.

You dont take your xbox anywhere. You login to your gamertag at their house and set it as your home box. then log their gamertag in at your house and set it as their home console. Now everything is fully shared.

Once the game is downloaded, is it 100% on your xbone or do you still need to have his GT on your console to have the game work? Could anyone just add someones GT that has a boat load of games, download them, and then take off their GT and the games will still work?

I don't know for sure, but I doubt it. You are essentially attaching your GT to their xbox. If you remove the GT, then you'd remove that setting as well.

No.

He can only play my games at his house because I set his console as my console and vise versa.

Now when my kids go on their accounts, if they click on my purchased games, it wont let them play because technically they are on HIS xbox rather than mine.

If they login as me and then as themselves, they have access to both xbox's content.

beyond that, it works and works great.
