I know it's almost over, but has anyone been watching?

I find the study of sharks very interesting. Lots of good stories this week.

Yep they're repeating too many shows for my liking but I still love Shark Week.

So far the craziest one I saw was a story I'd never heard before of a kid getting attacked off Australia I think in the 50's. The shark had his leg and people waded out to help him and there was so much blood they didn't know the shark was still there. He kept telling them the shark had his leg and they thought the shark was gone, they dragged him, AND the shark, out of the water onto the beach. The shark wouldn't let go, they tried and tried to pry the mouth open and eventually decided they were going to have to lift him and the shark to help. In lifting him, the sharks jaws finally opened and they got the leg out.

The shark was out of the water so long it died. IIRC this was the one where the examination of the shark showed it had some major injury that impaired it's ability to hunt normally so they believe the shark had adapted and figured the easiest thing for me to catch is swimmers. They believe that shark had accounted for several attacks because it had essentially gone "rogue" out of necessity to eat.

Wow, I haven't seen that one. Will have to keep my eye out for it.

Yeah, I don't like the repeats, but what can you do?
