I want 2 answers. I voted for "leverage the situation to trade down" since you have to capitalize on everything that you can but I also want to "Avoid Sanders like the plague".

As soon as you take him, Kyler's trade value (whatever it might be) goes down the toilet. (assuming that Monti isn't on the phone at the same time) These types of deals would be hard to get done in 15min unless deals are already in place.

I'm not sure how the team gets better in this scenario. Gannon and Kyler both are on a make or break year. Gannon specifically can't afford the inevitable distraction that Shedeur would be on the bench.

I would prefer trading Kyler prior to the draft if possible.

I would not make the pick to be better next year. That's obvious. It would be a gamble to try to get sustainable success.

I don't mind that move. It would have been very good had the extra 1st worked out.

I didn't either at the time, and I still don't. I just don't like taking the risk twice in 3 seasons.

Not really. A QB is a very different proposition.

I think Gannon gets slack if they're planning to move off Kyler.
