As my granddad would say. The only thing worse than making a mistake is not admitting it and moving on to fixing it.

At this point I suspect its bringing the whole team down.

He needs to jump overboard holding a cannonball.

If it is possible to send Shelby Miller to the Minors, it should be done now. To take the pressure off him and give him an opportunity to see if he can develop the mentality of a winner.

Before he goes, Matt Williams should be called on to give him a pep talk, having been sent down to the Phoenix Giants by San Francisco. And how he used it as an opportunity to get it together and return to the Majors as a classic #5 (RBI) hitter. Not a star, but a solid performer.

I wonder what role the public comments by Zack Greinke about Miller being paid too much have played in his evident lack of confidence.

That might take a while.

2-22 in his last 35 starts.

At this point, we are not contending and won't make the playoffs most likely this year. Why not just keep him in the rotation? I'd like to see Archie get some starts though but yeah we aren't going to contend for a long time.

I'm out of state in the "sticks" so I can't look for sure but didn't he lose close to 20 of those games with a crappy ATL team last year? I could be wrong but I remember he had a decent ERA (around 3) and a not too bad WHIP? Again, I am going by memory, so I could be way off. That is why I was "OK" with the trade, trusting mgt. however, he has been horrible so far this year so the trade looks even worse. Than many here predicted.

This team is going nowhere. It lacks pitching, especially middle relief, and is softer than a new babys but. 2 players hit, at least 4 nearly hit and we did nothing.........

Oh and today the color guy says he didn't think they were throwing at them. What a joke.........

I like Bickleys idea, you hit ,or come close, above the shoulders, automatic ejection and some sort of suspension.
