I like Channing, but I agree I don't think he's the hard-nosed player we are looking for. Ike would be a solid backup PF for Amare, but nothing more. I don't think he'll be there based on size and potential, but Johan Petro is a guy I think could help us if he is there. The mocks on him have him in the mid-first round area, though I think workouts and teams' desperations to draft a big center will raise his stock come draft time.

READ THE POST - I did not say he was in the same class as a shot blocker. I was debating the statement that he was not a good shot blocker. Also IF Ike was on the east coast he would be a top 3 pick. You live in the west and I am talking about the east coast media. And no I watch little of asu hoops cuz I despise the coaching of one Rob Evans. I don't claim to know what you like or know in regards to sports, so don't come off all high and mighty like you know everything, by the way I never said that they were similar.

Ike puts up stats like a high Lottery Pick but just doesn't have size or athleticism to be Drafted that high IMO - he's not on a very good team, IMO teams will look at those stats but Mid-Round is better suited... maybe by the Suns.


Villanueva has game that could fit with the Suns style but when I think attitude... I think of him, after reading those Chad Ford articles.


Sheldin Williams could fit what Chaplin is looking for but Duke. Maybe Josh Boone drops
