Had Nuk not gone on IR no.

Is the corpse of Larry Fitzgerald better than Antoine Wesley? Absolutely he is.

Why not he deserves to go on this ride with the team if he wants to imo

I dont know if he's better (with no camp/shape?), but it certainly cant hurt now.

It absolutely could hurt. He can’t play outside AT ALL. So now you have his out of football shape old slow self taking snaps from Kirk in the slot. Who is finally producing and been pretty good there. But also is not an outside WR. LBers can cover fitz now with little effort he’s that slow now. It would affect a lot and not in a good way.

No he doesn’t. He hasent put one ounce of hard work or sweet into this season’s achievements. He isn’t entitled to anything.

I wish Larry would come out and say “Nah, I’m good.” Before 10 more Larry threads pop up.
Larry is washed.
Until he does there will always be speculation.

I mean, if he's out of shapes obviously no. I'm assuming as he hasn't officially retired he's been keeping himself in shape in the hope someone calls for a playoff run.

Sure there will be some rust, but after 17 years in the league I'm sure it's nothing a couple weeks of practice won't shake off.

If you want to argue Fitz and his elite hands and 17 years of experience can't play outside as well as Antoine Wesley I'd argue Antoine Wesley ran a 4.68 40 yard dash, and that was a friendly time at his pro day. And he's spent a year our with a knee injury since then.

Fitz probably faster than Wesley and he could be his Pop.

Wesley’s performance against SF this year is pretty much equal to or better than every Fitz’ performance last season & that’s with significantly less opportunities.

Not that I wouldn't like Larry coming back, but what exactly speaks against Wesley after his few performances this year as WR Nr. 5?

Come on man.

I absolutely think Larry is well past his prime. Like, WELL past his prime.

I also think Wesley is an undrafted nobody who never made a 53 until Kliff showed some favoritism who has 7 career catches with most of the yardage on them coming from the trick play vs the Niners.

If it's the playoffs, were down 27-24 with 20 seconds left. It's 3rd and goal in the RZ to win the game who do you wan't on the field? Antoine Wesley or Larry? Because it really shouldn't be a question.

If it was Fitz vs all the receivers that have taken a snap this season in the NFL I'd take 90% of those guys over Fitz. Antoine Wesley is deep in the remaining 10%.

I would rather have Antoine Wesley starting over Larry Fitzgerald in 2021, since that is what this is going to lead to.

I know you are trying to make a point but having seen Wesley move I'd put my last $100 on Fitz.

It's certainly not different enough to overcome how far Fitz is above Wesley in every single other category. Hands, route running, experience, knowledge, performing under pressure, blocking etc etc

No doubt Fitz is a fraction of what he was. That fraction is still better than Wesley.

If you found an old jock strap soaked in Fitz DNA that fell down the back of the lockers that had grown enough mold to kick start sentient life and sprout arms it would be better than Wesley.

And what did all those things that you claim are far superior at this juncture do for him as far as production and being a legit impact player the last two seasons while in football shape?
