If Sidney Jones fell to the third round, would you want the Cardinals to take him?
Personally I would. I feel like we are gearing up for 2018 and beyond. This year feels more like it will be a transitional year than anything else. It'd be the equivalent to trading this years 3rd round pick for next years first since by all means he was a top 10 prospect.

You can never have too many good DB's and we'd be in a really enviable positon next year.

Yes I would definitely have the Cards take him in the third round. I just don't think he will fall that far.

No. He's too spindly and with the injury a 3rd rounder is too high. Should be able to get quality in the third that can help us now. Maybe in a later round.

No. Too many good CBs and S to take a guy who can't help next year, and is coming off a serious injury. San Fran went through this phase and it eventually hurt their roster. 4th round is more of a debate.

Unnecessary risk. There no guarantee he comes back from a torn Achilles. The injury can reduce vertical jump and range of motion.

It will be interesting depending on what ARZ does at #13. If they take something other than a CB, then it could be slim pickings at #45 as analysts predict there will be a run on DB's from #20 - #40. So if they don't get one in first 2 rounds then Jones could be really appealing at #76 unless they trade a 3rd rounder on a veteran CB. I mean we took Williams in Round 2 last year which I feel is a bigger gamble than Jones because he is still learning to play CB in the NFL.

Round 3. Chandler Jones was our #2.

Just heard Gil Brandt say that starter quality DTs and CBs will be available into the 5th...it's that deep.
