Dudley is only 6-7, he'll be overpowered by most of real bigs. His rebound rate is too low, he can't handle the ball or create shots. He can only get minutes when we go ultra small for a short period of time. Come on, we need a big.

Walker and Horry cannot defend the post, walker never could and Horry is so old he's not even a good D leager. I'd take lou over both of them easily, and Diaw ate lou up inside.

I say keep running till everyone needs oxygen masks. RUN RUN RUN. If we win good, if not well duh we all knew that was a distinct possibility now that our PF is gone so deal with it and move on.

TANK!!!
Gentry should make a prank to the Lakers by starting the worst players on the roster:

Dragic
Tucker
Barnes
Sims
Lopez

I'd never watch the suns again if they picked up Horry.

Tank it, its time to develop players. this roster is about to be crushed, demoralized on the backboards, they just dont have any size outside shaq. Running with a terrible bench and 3 rotation guys over 35 years old makes no sense at all, none. Gentry will probably be let go and amare gone in the offseason. Now is time to rebuild, say goodbye to playoff basketball for 5-7 years( a little longer since we sold a few #1's).

Sadly, I don't think the Suns have the parts to rebuild. The Suns primary parts are Nash, Shaq and Amare. Nash and Shaq are getting old and Amare is probably considered injured goods. The Suns don't even have their 2010 first round pick. The Suns may indeed be entering a dark tunnel very soon.

When Shaqs contract expires they will have some money to go out and get some parts to rebuild. Like you said, they don't have a 2010 pick so they will have to do it over a few seasons by signing free agents and drafting well. It's not like the Suns have no options to rebuild.

To me if your going to rebuild then blow it up this offseason. Trade Shaq, Nash and Amare and start over building a team more defensive minded. The Suns sound determined to keep Nash which means they can't keep Amare IMO. You can't have 2 of your starters being such horrible defenders.

Sadly, I don't see it turning out that way. He is a prediciton for the offseason:

  1. Suns hold on to Nash and sign him to extension.
  2. Suns hold on to Shaq.
  3. Suns hold on to Amare and talk extension.
  4. Suns make some lame trade for another piece and/or take "one last run" AGAIN with an old PG, old Center, old SF and Amare because they were thinking "what if Amare were here" scenario AGAIN. Only to have it blow up in their face, make a ton of mid season moves and get nothing for those 3 players in trades.
