This would be a perfect time to sign him to his big contract. We should break the bank and lock this guy up for the next 5-6 years. I want to see this core Defense locked up for a few years and add a corner in the off season. This Defense can easily be top 10 with Wilson, Docket, Dansby, and Hayes for years to come.

What does everyone believe his value is ? I would do a 5 year 30 million - 33 million

I have no idea what his value is right now, but the earlier it is done, the better.

Dockett is looking like a HUGE bargain right now.

Very good point on Dockett...last year he looked way overpaid. He said it himiself...Watson is the difference.

We have a solid young nucleus on defense...and in the past, this is where we start to step backwards (letting the young guys go).

I don't think we will do that this time.

Both sides have been talking for about 6 weeks straight from preseason to about a few days before the Ravens game. Lots or preliminary stuff and talks were described as good with both sides getting along. They reach a point were both sides started to stall a little bit so they decided to take a week or so break.

Not sure if they are talking again yet, but I figure we will here about Dansby and a few other extentions(Hodel probably) or restructures during the 2 weeks off during the bye week period. We tend to wait until week 8 for these things.

I have no doubt that the Cardinals will re-sign Karlos by years end and from what information I gather, like Wilson, Dansby really wants to be part of the turn around of this team to better times.

its amazing, i use to despise our defense years ago. (mckinnon, wakefield, injured all the time at the time vandenbosch, fisher, thompson, knight, starks, the list goes on forever) but on this D i have so many that i am just so proud and pleased to have on my side. Wilson. Hayes. Dansby. Docket. Watson. Smith. Berry. Hood. Green. and even Pace with his current play as of late. wow i pretty much said the whole defense.

No, it wasn't the light that went on. It was the coach that went on. Ah, maybe it was both of those things.

Pace is playing for a new contract, I wonder how he'd play next year if he got it? I think most would agree we wanted to see how Dansby bounced back after his injury and work ethic came into question. Looks like he has bounced back well, but would he keep it up if he got his $$$? Let's hope so, I bet he'll be resigned before the bye week is over!!!

With all this "re-sign" everybody, maybe we need a little love for Graves, too.

Just sayin'.

I hope we work to resign Karlos VERY soon. I also think MUCH credit has to be given to the coaches INCLUDING Strength & Conditioning Coach Lott !

It has come to pass guys, Tough, Smart and Discplined. Improvement every week. We saw it all last Sunday. Now let's work for CONSISTANCY and kick some Ram fanny.
