I cancelled my HBO (no more Sopranos), xld NFL Sunday ticket (all home games on TV!), so for these dog days of summer I signed up with Netflix (prolly only until September).

I already got and watched The Departed - fantastic film! Don't have much else on my Q - any suggestions?

Have you watched Blood Diamond? I actually thought Leo was better in it, than The Departed.

Yep, Blood Diamond was very good also. Darn, I'm really starting to like Leo - now I need to watch all his movies. Was Aviator any good?

Abolutely. Leo. Scorcese. What more can you ask for?

I went on a Leo kick a while back. Also check out "Basketball Diaries" and "Departed". I still need to watch "Gilbert Grape" and "Catch Me If You Can".

Big Trouble in Little China
Mystery Science Theater 3000 the movie
Labrynth

Labrynth - is that the one with David Bowie? I think I'll pass :)

Big Trouble - that one sounds interesting.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 the movie - hmmm...sounds interesting also, but which one? I didn't see one titled "the movie"

Yes, it has Bowie but its still a good movie.....imo. But I had a crush on Jennifer Connelly.

MST3K is great and you catch new jokes every time you watch it.

Big Trouble is a great kung fu, shoot em up, bad movie.

I own 3 out of 5 of those movies on DVD :| Those were the days of going to Best Buy on Friday Night and coming home with 10 DVDs. Oh well, I was a Jean Claude homer for about 10 years so I had that going for me

I have 3 of them as well. 3 guilty pleasures, actually. And the other 2 I won't touch with a 10-foot-pole.

I just watched this one. All I've got to say is : :|

The only part I liked was the very end when Olive does her dance routine at the pageant.

LOL that's really funny that you say that because a lot of people I've talked to that didn't like the movie didn't like it because of that scene.
