The Philadelphia 76ers are in need of some able bodies when considering all of the injuries they have had to sustain in the 2024-25 season. It has been a trying year for coach Nick Nurse and Co. as they entered the season with championship expectations, but just were unable to have any type of injury luck.
With 11 games left in the season, the Sixers need players in order to field a roster. They have signed a number of players to 10-day deals just trying to get through the season and they added another player on Monday to a 10-day in the form of Marcus Bagley.
Playing for the team's G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, all season, Bagley will get an opportunity. He's averaging 11.3 points and 8.1 rebounds while shooting 43.6% from the floor and 32% from deep with Delaware. He will wear No. 35 for the Sixers.
Undrafted out of Arizona State, Bagley will now get an opportunity over the next 10 days to show what he can do at this level. If there is one positive out of this season, it's the fact that unheralded players get the chance to play in the league.
