Monday morning quarterbacks surface only when there is constant failure.

This thread isn't about one mistake. It is about constant management mistakes. In the area of starting pitchers. It doesn't even go into similar mistakes with position players.

Minimal mistakes, no need for MMQB.

You know LaRussa is looking at those pitchers Towers got rid for basically nothing and saying, "what the h*ll was he doing?"

If Towers doesn't like you, he will turn on you so fast and come out saying crap, like he is a bad clubhouse person or not gritty enough. He was hoping the public would believe him and agree with trading the so-called malcontents. I never bought into it.

There were a lot of people who were really pissed off about the Skaggs and Bauer deals the moment they happened. This isnt hindsight.

I believe the Skaggs deal is going to hurt us the most. He's going to be real good for a long time i'm afraid. Going back and looking back at the original trade, I can't believe the Angels gave up Skaggs who they had drafted #1 in 2009, Patrick Corbin their #2 pick in that same draft and Joe Saunders for Dan Haren.

We don't have the monopoly on stupid, apparently. However, you should never give up on young pitching that struggles in the first year or two. This team is in last place or hovering thereabouts, because it gave away Skaggs, Bauer, Kennedy, Scherzer, and has Hudson and Corbin out injured for the year. That would be a hell of a starting rotation.

Well, we couldnt have Scherzer AND Kennedy and Hudson, we got Kennedy and Hudson because we traded Scherzer.
