Skins fans

first off--- the skins fans that are here are classy fans. But when I went over to extremeskins to check out the redskin news/injury reports for this week I came across alot of threads how were gettin destroyed and how good their defense is and blah blah blah.

Seriously....is it me or have the skins had nothing but pathetic seasons the last few years? They have some great talent and look to be a factor this year but I mean c'mon redskin fans......get real. You arent that good and nobody is afraid of you. LOL comical

Personally I love it when teams and their fans foolishly expect to walk all over us.....then the game starts and Smith/Dockett are in their qb's face all day and edge is running all over them. Love it.

Its just foolish optimism to say you're going to destroy someone. Personally I think this win (if they pull it off) would be the most satisfying win of the year for me. Skin fans remind me of red sox fans....cocky and arrogent. The only problem is skins fans have nothing to back it up with.......smoke blowers.

For the most part, the Skins have been in a down funk the past few years. Even when they went to the playoffs in 2005, they were a shadow of their former selves. I know the Cards have been miserable for decades, but also think that this team should not be underestimated by Redskin Nation.

It's a Maryland thing. Marylanders (and for that matter, most people in the Mid-Atlantic region) take their sports teams seriously, so naturally, we talk a lot of mierda. When I moved to Arizona and got into these teams, I brought that attitude with me. In AZ I'm a loud mouth and no class fan, but back east I'm just another fan.

Redskins will know what I mean.

I lived in MD for 16 yrs, predominantly during Gibb's first stint. I have nothing but respect & admiration for Joe & he is arguably one of the top 5 coaches in NFL history. NO ONE made better halftime adjustments than Joe Gibbs. Some folks would say that the game has passed him by, but I disagree. Gibbs took an old & declining team that had traded away its draft picks & has rebuilt it the right way. The Skins are on the verge of becoming a very good team again & Gibbs will win another SB before he retires for good. The problem the Redskins have is Daniel Snyder. Skins fans better hope that Gibbs is teaching him how to run a franchise.

Snyder is the main cancer of that organization. The bad news for the Skins is that he's not going anywhere, and has too strong a personality to take a back seat to someone else
