Sayes the Wolves have not lived up to their promises.

Contract is only 745K, if we use part of the trade exeception we will still have around 3M remaining. I think he has a 2 year contract but not certain if the 2nd year is guarenteed. At this price he is a bargain.

Edit: Second year is not guarenteed.

Someone said it in a earlier post, putting a prospect into the Suns lineup may light up a guys career just like putting a decent running back in the backfield for the Denver Broncos, the system makes them look like All Stars. I say give it a shot I think he could bring more than Stephen Hunter did offensively.

Didn't D'Antoni used to coach Skita in Italy? I've long been a proponent of at least giving the guy a shot in the Suns' system - it can't hurt...

I remember reading a few reports in the past that D'antoni has always had an interest in Skita.

The Suns system seems to be perfect for him. He has been a complete failure so far, but I'd give JJax and the part of the TE to get him.

Hmm that's too much IMO... I'd give up Sharrod Ford and.... thats about it. They are both bench warmers. JJax can be counted on to do more than Skita. BTW How funny is it that he was drafted over Amare :D

If we are gonna trade for a big man I'd like to see us go after someone who can board and provide some kind of post play. I saw Skita a couple times in the summer leagues and he seems like a frailer version of Lampe.

That is an aweful lot to give.....

Not to mention Skita makes the minimum - we wouldn't even have to give up any of our TE or a player.

The most I'd give up is a second rounder. I'd be surprised if he played in thirty games over the next two years for us. He could turn into a rotation player in two years, but I doubt it.

I don't think he can be traded yet since he just signed with Min this year.

The Suns could've signed this guy for the minimum last summer. Why would they give anything up to get him now?

Skita was on a team that D'Antoni coached.

He was very young and as I understand it never played. It was a youth league or something like that.

Skita was a fifth pick in the first round 4 years ago, he can not get minutes and is on his third team. Not sure the Suns want him.
I guess for the cheap if D'Antonin thinks he could do something with him?

But the Suns could have signed him this summer and did not, so he is probably not coming here.

we signed grant, who is out now so we need some sort of big man to fill in.

True but we don't need a big stiff standing around getting in the way.

If D'Antoni coached this guy and thought he fit the system don't you think the Suns would've tried to get him last summer?

If the Suns are going to get a big to play a handful of minutes as needed I would prefer a vet.

Which Tskitishvili is not. He's a SF who happens to be tall.

well if D'a is going to play a SF at center anyways we might as well have it be a tall one.;) i dont know if skita is the right guy for the job. ive never really watched him play i was just saying that things have changed since summer and that is why the suns MIGHT have more intrest in him than they did this summer since we are battling the injury bug.

What qualifications does Tskitishvili over, say, Dan Langhi? He's probably available as well.

youth and we can send one of our eligible players down to the developmental league. I sure that will happen anyways with Barbosa and House getting back to full strength.

If D'Antoini and BC wanted him--at all--he'd likely be in a Suns uni already.

He's pining for his 4th team in 4 years--that ought to tell you something.

He was on Benneton Treviso, a powerhouse team in Italy that Mike coached. He was on the team with Bostjan Nachbar.

He never played because he was 18 when he joined the team, and they were the Euroleague champions.

I love the stones of some people.

The guy is an epic flop in Denver, one of the all time biggest draft busts. Yet, inspite of that, Minnesota was STILL willing to give him a shot, when in actuality they would have been better suited letting him go back to Europe (as was rumored), and a shot that pays him a decent bit above the league minimum. Yet, he STILL *******.

Memo to Sitka: Your basketball skills are atrocious. Your "ability to shoot the three" was greatly overvalued by pre-draft workouts, my three-year old daughter can play better defense than you, and you fold like a ****ing envelope under pressure. Really, you should be kissing Kevin McHale's Ass for giving you this second chance that you really probably don't deserve. So, before you bitch about Minnesota "not living up to their promises", perhaps you should consider where you'd most likely be (playing for 100 bucks a week in the NBDL or worse-- the ABA) had Minnesota not taken a risk on giving you a second chance. Think about that, keep your mouth shut and be thankful you're ass wasn't Leon Smithed right out of the league.
