I am a little concerned, but he has probably the best timing with Palmer of any receiver. If anyone didn't need to work on that during meaningless games, it is him.

Don't really need timing when you just chuck the ball as deep as you can and wait for Smoke to catch up to it.

If he still hasn't passed concussion tests, this is a major growing worry.

not concerned at this point. This gives the staff time to look at younger players..... we have several "starters" out for one reason or another and I see nobody rushing to get any of them back. JB is on the roster, everyone knows that... but additional reps for Shipley, golden, etc can make the difference for another guy.

Speaking of B.Golden. Has he even played this preseason?

Brown sat out practice on Wednesday due to "headaches"... I heard that while he traveled to Houston, he will most likely not play again.
I don't care how talented a player is. Missing the entire training camp and perhaps every pre-season game matters. He may come back and play early in the season, who knows... But if he does, I think it's safe to say that the expectations of a breakout season, or a season above and beyond last year, are not at all realistic... I just hope he ends up ok and not another Kevin Kolb... :(

Don't sound good for #12 & let's not kid ourselves he's a big part of this offense.

Yea. Hopefully he can fully recover over the next 2 weeks. Head is nothing to mess around with!

Only one this is good for in a twisted way is Floyd. Both because he might have bigger numbers this year and it because it gives him leverage in negotiations with the team, especially if this starts to look like a Kolbcussion scenario for smokey.

Jaron Brown more like it.

For me its:

#1 - Hoping John Brown is OK and this is not a long term thing.

#2 - I am 100% fine with John Brown taking his time coming back from this because I have NO problem with Jaron Brown playing the #3 spot for this team. None what so ever.

not really. if long-term, they're looking at life without Smokey, the next option is doubling down on Floyd to pair with Fitz for the foreseeable future. Jason doesn't enter into that equation if you hope to still have two scary wideouts moving forward in this offense.

If brown is out for an extended period I think jj Nelson will take on his role as far as the deep shots. Other packages Jason brown will get those. Imo
