So when do you think KK sends Moore on a pattern that's beyond the line of scrimmage? I don't get it?

they basically used him as Chase Edmonds yesterday since Chase was out and Eno isn't the receiver yet. I too want to see him going downfield some but I think it was nice to have him as an outlet yesterday and he got a couple of big first downs on plays where he caught the ball well short

Remember that Kliff's offense is based upon option routes. This means Rondale Moore, who had very little experience in college running routes down the field, is having to read the defense and execute the correct route basically seeing the same thing that Kyler sees. That is a big jump.

Thank you for posting this.

Thoughts.
1-I think Josh Jones started and was then subbed for Garcia.

2-I agree on Zaven Collins. If not for last year with Simmons I would worry. Now it seems to be Vance's thing.

3 - Happy to see less AJ Green.

4-Really tight defensive rotation. 8 players 90% or more. Golden essentially picked up Vallejo's snaps and they just kept Simmons inside.
He had 6 less snaps than the top WR which was Wesley. Without Green yesterday we may have lost that game. Why would you be happy to see less? I admit he was sluggish last week coming back from Covid but he's been a great addition this year. I'm glad he's on the team.

What makes it more amazing is that he's at least serviceable, as a rookie, while Isabella has had 3 years, but still can't do it.

This is true but...

Its not all option routes. We could have a package of plays that does use Moore downfield occasionally.

Two of the only plays I can recall he's been great. The sideline catch vs SF and the TD vs Vikings.

We started the game with Sean Harlow at left guard and Max Garcia at right guard. Josh Jones did not start. I think he came in for Garcia some time in the third quarter. Garcia had a rough game, so I'm not sure if Jones came in due to Garcia's poor play or a minor injury to Garcia.
