So much for marking down the Rams games as easy wins.

They don't look like the same team that was playing for Linehan. We will have a dogfight on our hands come 11/2.

Just when people thought we had the division wrapped up. Rams beating boys, 9ers playing the Giants tough, and watch the Hawks beat the Bucs tonight. :bang:

You're right, it is very sobering. All this talk about how many wins we have and what playoff position we will have and ...

This is the NFL, any given Sunday. I'm going to stick with my "one game at a time" and enjoy the ride.

The Cardinals need to go out and play their type of football and not make mistakes. Whats going on today with St. Louis and Carolina should have no effect on their mindset going forward.

Got to call BULL on this.

We broke the cowgirls and the Lambs are just feeding on the leftovers.

S.F. is a joke. Seahwaks are cooked as well. Rams caught Wash. overconfident and Dallas is a mess.

We still have to win the games of course, but the Cards are still the class of the division.

If the Seahawks lose tonight, St. Louis will be #2 in the division. What a turn of events.

I am more worried about our next game. Carolina is playing awesome football right now. Playing them cross country on the road is going to be our hardest game yet, by far.

Book it! The Bucs are a pretty good team, and Hasselbeck is still out. No way Seattle comes close to winning this game.

Of course, this is the NFL...

I agree that we shouldn't look at any game as a cakewalk, but we all knew going into the season that the Rams can score points. Linehan or Haslett, Bulger or Green, doesn't matter.

I don't think their defense could hold us under 30 if Warner threw left handed - shutting down the Brad Johnson Cowboys doesn't impress me much.

STL will not be easy one bit...Haslett is a good coach and WILL wind up being their permanent HC after this season. He knows how to get this team fired up and the Rams offense--especially when S Jax is perfoming--is not easy to defend.

Carolina is really, really good, and with 3 of next 4 on the road the Cardinals are on very tenous ground right now.

The one game at a time strategy is the best to apply her too as far as I am concerned.

No game is a gimme, ever.

I'm with stupid.

Every game is a war. Remember in 2000 (or was it 2001?) when Tobin got fired, we went 3-13, and we almost beat the Super Bowl Ravens near the end of the season? How many years have we seen the Cardinals be absolutely awful and still beat one playoff team each year (and, of course, lose big to a couple teams we should beat).

the only good thing about the Rams winning and winning handily is the fact that our coaches will probably be able to make the case that there should be no way we can over look them. Now, that shouldn't be a problem anyway considering we've yet to accomplish jack squat, but we've heard of worse Cardinal teams say they over-looked bad opponents (even though we sucked at the time).

My thoughts EXACTLY.

No way the Lambs look this good against a Romo-led Cowboys team.

Plus, a couple of bs calls go our way in the first half and we beat the boyz by 2 scores with no OT. Of course, then Romo and that pro-bowl punter doesn't get hurt.

Watching the game, the Cowboys looked bad... as much as I liked Brad Johnson and felt he had an underrated career, he didn't look good today, every pass was ahead or behind his receivers... I felt bad for him. (not them).

Rams looked good... if they win next week and we can't win on the road against a good Carolina team we won't have to worry about our players taking it easy against the Rams, the game will be for the division lead.

With that said, lets just focus on what we can control going into Carolina.

I would still be cautious when facing the Rams but I'd say that was the case as well. The Cowboys are a train wreck. They were struggling with Romo for their past 3 games including our game which they were only in due to numerous officiating blunders.

In our game they lost their starting QB, their speed back, and their punter. They also lost 2 CBs in the past few weeks due to injury and suspension.

That team is in shambles and probably bought into the hype that this game was a "gimme."

I see that the Rams have NE @ NE next week. I'm gonna look at it this way. If they lose and we win, we have a 3 game lead in the division.

I take back everything I said about every NFL game being a war after seeing this Lions team for the second straight week. This is like watching a wake.

Watching this team with Dan Orlovsky at QB is like watching Fred Thompson's presidential campaign. It's painful and everyone looks ready to fall asleep.
