Obviously playing an unbeaten team can mean getting blown out.

But this is a Thursday game, and I've noticed anything can happen in these games. Players just aren't ready. So a good team can fall flat.

Take a team that might feel high on itself while also being a division game, and that's a classic trap game for the 49ers.

We just lost a game we were hanging around until getting the doors blown off, we're at home, and didn't have to travel TO a short game.

We probably lose but I do think there's plenty of variables that could swing it our way.

It does feel too easy to pick the Niners, I feel this game will be close. I wouldn't be surprised either way if we won or lost, just play hard.
Same Broseph. A blowout would do nothing but elicit memories of The Wilks era, and smack us all back to reality. Progress?? What progress!?

Jimmy G has had basically a season's worth of starts, he coming off a torn ACL 12 months ago so still trying to find his rhythm. His stats make him out to be less than what I really think he is. He's seen many dropped passes by his receivers, TD passes called back due to penalties, picks because ball bounced of receivers hands, bad snaps. Now I not saying he's not at fault, just think stats are misleading.

As far as roughing him up, go watch the 9er game against Pittsburgh, Jimmy G looked like David Carr in that game and still threw the clutch TD for the win.

I could be wrong but I think unless the entire 49er team lays down, this will a win for S.F.

Fair enough fam. Here's to a good game with you ultimately taking this L for the rest of your week, up through your weekend, and until your next game.

This is a dominant running team with a great DL... they're tailor-made to beat us. I'm going out to watch with a bunch of Niners fans and expect to get ripped on all night.

But my Fitz jersey is already on. Here's hoping.
Have my #1 KM on here in Louisville handing out candy to the kids. Will have the game on watching it downstairs also.

Do you do this often? Watch the game with opposing fans?:D
No wonder you come back angry to this board.:p
Funny enough, my hate for the 49ers is as fervent as my love for the Cardinals, and has been long before we were in the same division. Most of the worst events in my life have coincided with the 49ers winning, or being prominently featured in a weird way.

But, one of my good buddies is a 9ers and wants to watch together whenever we can - we've been to Cards/9ers games in both AZ and SF, which is something I never thought I'd do. Who knows.

Just don't go to the Linq. $8 beers :jawdrop: The Palms had $1 beers. I should have asked Shane. :)

Haha, definitely not going out to the Strip. Locals rarely do.

I'm hopping in an Uber to a bar up the street.

Bars are definitely more my style. I hate the strip personally. I don't mind Fremont St though. Mainly because of the live bands & party atmosphere.
