Will it be as a DC?

He was getting a lot of praise from the media during our playoff run, I think I even heard head coach talk, now he's out of a job, what do you guess he does next?

He'll be a DC/asst HC somewhere. Contrary to what you read on these boards, people around the NFL have nothing but good things to say about him.

And, before you start in on the "then why was he fired," keep in mind it's a rare NFL coach that DOESN'T get fired...multiple times. Bill Billicheck was fired. Tom Landry was fired. Mike Shanahan was fired. (I'm not saying he's in thoses guys class, just providing perspective).

If he isn't a DC for KC, then hey will probably have to take a lesser position or sit out the year. There aren't really any more openings at this point of the year.

Rob Ryans out of Oakland and they haven't found a replacement yet. I know the Saints and Texans had fired their DCs, but I think both have hired replacements since then.

The Redskins are also on the lookout for a new DC (they fired Williams in January, but said they were content to wait until after the SB too start looking, not sure what the status there is). And the Bengals are still looking for a DB coach I believe.

Oh and the Packers just fired like 6 coaches, I know they brought Capers in as DC, but I believe they are still looking for line coaches and asst. coaches.

The Skins got rid of Williams last year. Their DC this year was Greg Blatche.

Clancy reminds me of the scene in Tommy boy where he squeezes the donut or roll or whatever.

He's got you literally screaming into the tv, ATTACK, don't play prevent for the love of God ATTACK!!!

He can have a team so thoroughly devastated by a really awesome scheme and at some magical point he turns into wonder wuss and then here comes the dance of the three man rush and here comes the rain of points going the wrong way, and the worse it gets the worse the prevent gets, it's like he turns into mush.

He'll be good at the point he says screw it and turns his guys lose as attack dogs and when the HC say maybe we should play some prevent he should just kick him square in the junk and say I don't think so, while dialing up 5 blitzes in a row.
