Sure as hell won't be the Sea Hags.

The Giants? Unlikely.

The Bears are the stock answer, but now that the Cardinals helped expose Rex the Wonder Dog (blitz him, then watch him turn it over 6 times) they will have some trouble scoring points and controlling the ball.

Maybe the Saints? I don't know but I don't see an NFC team that can stand up to San Diego, Indy, Jacksonville, New England....yeah, it's one of those seasons where maybe the 5 best teams are all in one conference.

Dallas or the Saints. Seahags could still get hot at the right time. Any of the three would play a good game IMO.

The Bears were my preseason call (but I thought Griese would be starting for them by now), so I'm going to stick with them.

Defense+strong run game/short, mistake prone QB * pathetic division=championship.

That's what I always say.

I say Dallas, I would have said CHI weeks earlier but their QB situation is just so bad.

Dallas is easily the best the NFC has to offer. All things being equal, no one will outcoach Parcells when it counts. The Saints D is horrendous, Manning will crack under pressure, Grossman leaves the Bears completely exposed. The Cowpokes are the best balanced team.

Whom does the terrible NFC sent to the Super Bowl?

:bim:

I like the Atlanta Falcons. Are you telling me they couldn't win three games in a row? DeAngelo Hall on consecutive nationally televised games? Go Dirty Birds.

Against good defenses with a QB that can't throw, they have no shot.

No way is Indy making it to the SB. No way in hell. New England will have a tough time, but they do have the experience. Jacksonville is sneaking up on the radar. I'd have to say San Diego is going to make it in the AFC. And I don't see an NFC team that will beat them.

Miami beat NE 21-0. What happened?

Do you want to change your answer after tonight's Cowboy thrashing?

Indy isn't great but I'd take them against basically any NFC team if I had to bet.

Dallas doesn't look like as good of an answer right now (Midnight) as they did when I posted this at 6 PM. What a debacle tonight.

I can't stand Dallas.
I would like to see the Seahacks choke in the first round, so the doubt creeps back in next year.
The Bears are who we thought they were, just defense.
I would like to see the Saints make it. Afterall they aren't too far removed from where we've been. Laughable. It gives me hope. If they can make it in and face the Chargers, imagine the hype of Brees going against Rivers and the Chargers. I think it could be an exciting matchup. Both teams are talented.

I'd venture to say that unless the Bears straighten things out on offense, you will get your wish. NO vs SD in January.

They're definitely not a complete team this time around, and have shown more than small cracks of weakness. Still, as long as they make the playoffs, and they will, that playoff experience will make them tough to beat. I doubt they can make the SB, but stranger things have happened.

I don't know about all that. Maybe Indy could put up points against many of them, but the run defense? Yikes. Grossman wouldn't have to pass, and the Bears D would help a lot. Tiki Barber, Deuce McAllister, or Jones/Barber III against the Indy run D? Indy gave up over 300 yds on the ground to Jacksonville. A decent running team, yes, but still.
