As with all NFL Draft picks, the social media reactions came in fast and furious when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Emeka Egbuka at No. 19. And, as usual with first-round picks, most were positive. Lots of Tampa Bay fans and beat writers were quite happy to add another talented receiver to an already-stacked room. If I had to pick one tweet to best sum up why Egbuka is such a great fit for Tampa Bay, it's this one:

At least Emeka Egbuka has plenty of experience when it comes to being in a crowded and extremely talented wide receiver room. https://t.co/swilnvY6Cd

Egbuka made himself into the leading receiver in Ohio State history by being a hard-working great talent surrounded by elite talents. Maybe teams have one elite corner that can try to handle a Marvin Harrison Jr. or Jeremiah Smith. But few teams have a second that can take on a player like Egbuka. And that should hold true in the NFL, too. Egbuka is too good a second or third option. Even if you cover Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, you're not going to have a third member of the secondary to battle Egbuka.

Tampa Bay seems like a great fit for Emeka Egbuka. Winning team—with a good offense and a good QB. Seems destined to be another productive Buckeye NFL wideout

There are way too many impressed tweets with the Bucs offense now to list all of them, so I won't even try.

Do the Bucs have the best group of offensive skill players in the league?

QB Baker Mayfield
RB Bucky Irving
RB Rachaad White
WR Mike Evans
WR Chris Godwin
WR Emeka Egbuka
TE Cade Otton

There are very few criticisms of Egbuka, because he's hard to criticize. Most of those who don't love the pick are along these lines: arguing that Egbuka is solid, but Tampa is already stacked at receiver and there were probably bigger needs for their first-round pick.

Bucs probably see Emeka Egbuka as Chris Godwin 2.0. Safe pick. But Top 20? Don’t see a lot of player-generated big plays. OC is gonna need to find ways to get him open
