Gil Brandt is still one of the best talent evaluators out there. He’s a little weak on small school talent, but he’s usually on the money otherwise.

Yeah, nice list. I like that he puts a lot of emphasis on measurables, such as short shuttle and three cone. Those two generally tell the tale of success at certain positions.

He has Vander Esch ranked 17, which IMHO is close enough to our pick at #15. C’mon Keim, please go get this kid. He’s a physical, sideline to sideline tackling machine that will fill up the stat sheet on Sundays.

Pretty solid list as you said. I'm just going to comment on a few that stood out to me.

21. QB Lamar Jackson- One of the first I have seen that doesn't love him or hate him. I respect that he resisted urge to give "hot take" eval on him.

35. OG Isaiah Wynn- He is one of the safest players in the draft for me because of his great combination of intelligence, athleticism, versatility and technique. Although he is only 6'2", he dominated the best pass rushers in the SEC at Left Tackle.

36. Edge Harold Landry- Elite first step, hand usage and bend. Great character and work ethic as well. Easy top 15 player for me. Close to 10.

61. OC Billy Price- I don't have him quite this low, but he ends up on the ground way too much to be considered a first rounder like most predict

74. QB Mason Rudolph- This is about where I have him. Lower than most

82 and 83. A kicker and Punter this high?? WTF

103. Edge Nwosu- He is a tough evaluation. High character that made plays at USC. Not sure of his position though.

137. OT Jamarco Jones- I have Jones as a top 40 guy on the same level as McGlinchey. He isn't flashy, but will be a rock solid OT for many years.

With some luck and smart choices Cards should end up with maybe 5 guys on that list.Brandt does have those kickers ranked pretty high.Rather see position players in the top 150 instead.

I love listening to Gil on the NFL network during my drive home. He is a great guy and a wealth of knowledge. Deserves to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a contributor IMO. A true ambassador for the sport!

Tremaine Edmunds could be an interesting choice for the Cardinals if he falls to #15.

Wilks may want to add an old-school MIKe thumper for the new 4-3. The two that immediately come to mind are Edmunds and Vander Esch. Most of the other most-mentioned LB prospects weigh in the 235 area and are on the short side.

The thing is modern 4-3s need their Mike LBs to be more than a down hill thumper. They need to be able to move sideline to sideline. Both of those guys you mention have that ability.

Good list.

Marcus Davenport.......I just do not see it. Guy looks slow, and really slow off the snap. Probably just me, but just sayin'

Vita Vea - DT

School: Washington | Year: Junior.

Vea pulled a hamstring after running his second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine and was not able to work out at his pro day. He's very strong (41 lifts at the combine) and moves well for a player his size. Vea started 13 games in 2017 and was named All-Pac-12.

Just say no to V V. Always hurt. Plays 50 % of snaps in that D. Too fat. Pulls a hammy in the 40.

2nd coming of Danny Shelton.

I like him and see him in a lot of mocks going no earlier than Round 4. I’d take him in third. Why do a lot of scouts not like him? Any OSU followers here?
