This was posted on the espn board. Generally stuff there shouldnt be taken seriously, but what the heck, why not post it...

---

I live in So. Cal and I was listening to sports talk show not sure who Either vick the brick or joe&doug cant remember, and they mentioned a possible divorce between his wife and kobe, thats secretly been on the low, they said she had just hired a lawyer, and she could possibly be waiting for kobe to sign a new extension til she divorces or something to that extent

Interesting, if kobe already knows that him and his wife are going to divorce, that could possibly work in our favor to sign him
---

If true, it really does help us because decisions over where to live usually come down to the wife.

This isn't new really.

I have read this on several Lakers boards already that Kobe and his wife are having problems.

There are rumors that they will divorce after Kobe's trial. Maybe she is waiting to cash in on his next contract if they are divorcing.
Maybe they don't want it to affect Kobe's trial. Maybe they aren't doing it because of their child...

KrazyQBano has posted on the Suns ESPN board for a couple of years I doubt he is making it up either.

Yeah. Apparently, when Kobe had to miss that game a year or two ago(I forget the details) to tend to his sick wife, what actually happened was that Mrs. Bryant called Kobe on the road...and Tyra Banks picked up.

These are the same guys at ESPN that say that we'll have to offer 20 million a year to Kobe if we want to lure him away from the Lakers.
