Yesterday my parents went to a party at one of my mom's friend's house. Her friend has a son that came home during the party yesterday absolutely speechless. Supposedly he was at a bar and the entire Suns starting lineup walked in. He thanked Nash for a great season and Nash invited him to sit with them. During the course of the evening he asked Raja Bell about Kobe and Bell said "I f___ing hate that guy" (not like that is news). Also, Amare supposedly begged to play, but his agent would not let him.

Anyway it is pretty cool that they were out together.

I love hearsay, even when it is unreliable.

This is an example of that cohesion they have exhibited all year and it is good to see them continue it at the seasons end.

I would have been more surprised to not, have read of something of this nature.

Amare's agent is smart. They still haven't collected dollar one of the new contract, and there's a 10 percent cut to be had before Amare goes off and risks his career.

Arliss wasn't comedy. It was just real life.

I guess I am naive.

When I read about agents saying such things as, don't play and then Raja's agent saying, play him or shoot him, I am surprised.

Those agents control far more than just their clients contracts, all the way to playing time and starting.

To a point, all they can really do is give them advice. Their clients have control no matter how high agents think of themselves. Agents can be fired

Especially Amare's. Who is his agent anyway? I thought he was still without one and just had a manager or something(not sure what the difference is).

They must have been drinking all day, I guess they were also at some resort or hotel drinking by the pool and swimming. I heard this from my manager at majerles whos good friends with jay (dont know his last name) the equipment manager. Also said steve took off his shorts and swam in speedos... like he would do it any other way :hitit:

He had John Wolfe when he was drafted, then he was ousted by his mom. Then he had Bill Duffy, who he basically used to recruit Steve. He then fired him.

Then he hired a business manager like you said.

i know amare frequents the j bar on occasion, so i wouldn't be surprised if they hit the james. but with the valley ho revamping their poolside by the zuxu (or zuzu?) lounge would be a likely possibility also. lots of "talent" around those pools.

i'm concerned, Amare is clearly selfish for saying he wanted to play and stealing the spotlight and deminishing the valiant effort this team put forth getting as far as they have without him. I would trade him for a bag a of speedy claxton's and skita's in a heartbeat.

Stealing what Spotlight?

THis team was going down the drain as it did the last 2 games dont get confused it was killing him to watch this team get beat on when he absolutely owned the MAvs the year before.
Glad your not the GM and take your bag of claxtons and skita and head to Denver they make those kinds of deals you would feel at home there.

No way his agent dictated if he played or not. Players don't work for the agents it's the other way around. If we know anything about Amare, its when he makes up his mind he does it.

Had Amare wanted to play he would have played.

Suns fans need something to worry about. If it wasn't Amare's health and ego, or Marion's desire to be the center of attention, it would be something else. Suns fans thirve on hand wringing.;)
