IMO - Warner, particularly last year, was the ultimate YAC QB. And, frankly, that's what Fitz, Q, Breaston, and hopefully now, Early are all about.
Wells dig was not welcome, it wasn't a fumble mo matter what the official stupis say. his knee was down.
And on top of that The Bean had 2 fumbles lost in 179 carries, THT had 4 in143.
So don't feed me crap and call it honey.
I did see beanie drop his first cachable pass, and He made the blocks but not with autority every time in protection, but effective.
They both deserve to play but Istill say THT was best releiving Edge with fresh legs and burst role about 10 carries a game.
The Bean is a featue back workhorse 20+ carries a game from the power formation.
Matt is a top 10 NFL QB, with or without Whiz and the Cardinals. DA is not.
Typical ASFN, people have to make it personal.
I hereby dub DA short bus, it's short bus vs. toast in an epic QB struggle.
I haven't seen this mentioned a lot, but most of Anderson's work in the preseason has come against second and third string defenses. And he still can't complete 60% of his passes. It's yet another reason I'm baffled that anyone has been impressed with DA enough to think he should start. The guy has been nothing but mediocre this summer.
It's really not that complex, lots of times you get this where the coach and a player just don't mix at all, that's what we have here IMO.
I believe you're right. It probably is that simple. But if that's the case, why not secure a better alternative than Derek Anderson? Whis seems too calculated to make such a reckless move.
Guys like Whiz always think they can remold a guy with a big arm like DA, and maybe he can.
IMO Matt is the most unwhiz kind of QB possible, Whiz did not draft him, does not like his game, his attitude, pretty much nothing about Matt the football player makes Whiz happy.
So I think Whiz and our QB coach have fallen for a big arm and are about to reap the sewn oats of that relationship.
You really never know but the history of remolding guys like DA is spotty at best.
If I was Matt's friend I'd tell him to just be quiet, and never for a 2nd consider resigning with this team, not that he'll get an offer he won't but he should just move on to a place where someone likes how he approaches the game.

Yup. And Mark Anderson wasn't there to challenge Brandon Keith on the other side.
It's weird how often you'll look at the OL in the middle of running plays and they'll just be standing there looking around. You'll see this especially with Levi Brown, who on one run seemed surprised that Hightower got out of the pile and was suddenly standing next to him looking for someone to block.
Levi Brown chose to block nobody. Perhaps part of Russ Grimm's coaching is that you don't play to the whistle.
You need to post more often. Just keeping it real.
