If we could have held on and won the Super Bowl, the NFC would have been on a nice little run with each division winning the Super Bowl. Look:

2007: Giants/East
2008: Cards/West(if we would have won)
2009: Saints/South
2010: Packers/North

And am I the only one rooting for the 49ers to win it all? I know they are our hated rivals but they are in our division and they are a team nobody is talking about. Nothing would make me happier to see a SF/Hou or Den Super Bowl

Yes it could only be worse for me if Green Bay win again.

I am pretty sure you are the only Cardinals fan rooting for the 49ers. A 49er/Green Bay championship game would make me sad.

OK, you guys talked me out of it. So, who do we root for?
I'm rooting for a B'more/ Saints SB. I picked the Saints before the year started and, other than Ray Lewis, I pretty much like everyone of the Ravens roster(Ed Reed is probably my favorite non-Cardinal in the league). Let's hope Boldin celebrates with his team this time.

I'm rooting for Brady vs Brees. Maybe they can get Dan Marino to toss the ceremonial coin for that one.

EF THE NINERS. I'm rooting for them to all get dreadfully ill and throw up their spleens, get their asses pounded by the Saints like hookers in port, and start fighting in their locker room after the game. Then when the league fines them and they all refuse to play with each other again, see their franchise folded.

That's what I'm rooting for when it comes to the Niners. Come on, man!

How can you not root for the Texans?

Never been to the big dance. Aren't you guys sick of hearing New England, Baltimore and the likes?

I will NEVER root for the 49ers'. EVER.

I can't root for the 49ers, the Steelers (don't have to worry about that anymore) or the Saints: the 49ers because of all their talk every year (and pretty much backing it up when it comes to us every year), the Steelers for very obvious reasons, and the Saints for destroying any thought Kurt Warner entertained of returning.

After that I don't care, even if it's Tom Brady again (so long as Ocho Cinco doesn't catch anything). :)

Niners more than Cowpukes

The Niners have taken over the bottom of my spit-toon from the cowpukes, I hope they both lose every game forever.

I hate the Niners but I'll always pull for a Lombardi trophy for our division. No real chance it happens though. Once the Saints go up by 14 points, there is no way in hell the Niners can catch back up. Same thing would be true the next week versus GB and the next week versus NE. No way Niners defense stops all three of those offenses.

I was rooting for Detroit, to go from 0-16 to Super Bowl in 3 years. With that out, I wlll have to root for either GB or NO in the NFC. Hate the Whiners and rooted against the Giants for too many years. As for the AFC, I would root for the Texans, but am more for wanting a good Super Bowl. The worst would be an Alex Smith versus TJ Yates matchup. The best would be GB/NO against the Patriots. Denver served its purpose in knocking out Worthlessburger and won't make it past the Patriots anyway. Baltimore, would be OK with, but rather see the Patriots get in to have a good wide open game, and then lose to the NFC.

I'm with you Al. I'm sick of NE, Pittsburgh,Baltimore and Indy winning every year.

I much prefer the NFC which stands for who will win that Conference, No Friggin' Clue.

Whereas with the AFC its been the same 4 teams for the last 10 years. Since 2000 there has only been one AFC Championship game that didn't involve either Baltimore, Indy,New England or Pittsburgh and 5 that included two of those 4 teams.

And you'd be wrong... ;)

I support the team defending the honour of the NFC West, followed by the NFC in the Super Bowl.
