Since the Dbacks are playing so piss poor and their season is done, how about we discuss a pitching milestone.
Last night Greg Maddux won his 299th game (lloks like he gets crack at #300 at home vs Philly Sunday). Short of injury, 300 is a done deal this year,
Last night I was running errands and the guy on the radio suggested Maddux winning his 300th was akin to the dinosaurs and he wondered if it would ever be done again. What do you guys think? Is this something we may not see again in our lifetimes?
Currently Glavine is the only active player in the top 50 (besides Clemens and Maddux) in wins at 259
