Have any of you noticed that the sound of the crowd on TV in the Cards stadium overrides the annoucers somewhat? Sounds to me like the mikes are not placed properly and I can hear individual people yelling comments. To hear the annoucers I have to crank up the volume on my new 46" flat screen which makes the crowd noise even louder. I do not notice this while watching other TV games on Direct.

The crowd noises always sound uneven at Cardinals stadium. It has to be the mic set up.

does anyone know where they are?

my back touches the gray box at mid-field where there are a lot of the cameras used to shoot the game - the guys up there are pretty cool and often hand down sodas and snacks towards the end of the game

Sometimes the problem can be with the way your audio is selected on your TV. I had a similar problem in the past where the crowd noise overpowered the voices of the announcers. When I checked out my audio on the TV, I noticed that I had several selections such as, surround sound, AI Sound, Speakers, and Normal. I had them all selected so I just selected Normal and the crowd noise went away. I never had the problem since, so it may be worth checking out your sound system is setup properly for sports.

I sit in section 111 row 8. This past game was the first time they had a mic set up at the bottom of the section, pointing right up into the crowd. I'm sure that's why you could hear fan's comments.
