There goes all of our trade leverage with Miami as well. Kerr played chicken and lost me thinks.

Not his fault. Better that than him getting crappy deals for Amare.
Everything is the Front Offices fault. They shouldn't be in this mess to begin with.
Besides, if you all you get is crap offers for Amare....you take the best Crap available and try and turn it into something. Provided you don't take on terrible contracts, there is no scenario where losing Amare for nothing is good.
Let's not pretend this is the first player situation the Suns have screwed up.
I am still holding out hope there is a good deal to be had out there.
Right under the section where it talks about "Your current roster and championship run has run it's course and it's time to cut your losses and regroup."You don't trade just to trade. Did you read what you just posted? If all you get is crap offers, you take crap offers? Um, what? Where is that in the trading rulebook?

There is nothing worse than nothing.
I'm a big fan of analogies but....this one stinks. What would you rather have for dinner tonight, a big plate of horse crap or nothing.

If that crap is a late first rounder and some other young guys that I "might" be able to package in another trade down the road?????
Where is my napkin? That's still better then nothing.
I would rather watch Amare playing his butt off for the rest of the season to showcase his talent than watch the Suns once again get taken to the cleaners.
Letting him walk for nothing is worse then getting taking to the cleaners. You just got your pocket picked and didn't even call the police.
It's a bad analogy, because he hasn't left for nothing yet. He might and he might not; in the meantime, you have to play the percentages. What you wanted the Suns to do was set fire to 95% of their cash instead of walking through an area of town where they might get pickpocketed.
