Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to an in-state prospect from a recent pipeline program for the Spartans.

Chad Willis of Orchard Lake, Mich. announced he received a scholarship from the Spartans late last week. Willis is an athlete prospect that plays for Michigan high school football powerhouse Orchard Lake St. Mary's -- who has recently sent a number of players to Michigan State.

Willis is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 class. He is listed at 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, according to 247Sports.

Michigan State is one of nearly 20 programs to extend an offer to Willis, according to 247Sports. Other programs to offer Willis includes Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Minnesota, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Miami (OH), Southern Miss, Toledo, UMass and Western Michigan.
