It’s not reasonable for a new GM with no experience and reportedly the second choice to withhold approval for the candidate his new boss prefers.

Its not reasonable to suggest he'd just nod and not voice his concerns either.

Being new or 2nd choice doesn't in any way make his position weaker than a 1st choice vet.

I completely agree. Now who among us knows what is going through Ossenford's mind...does he really see things the same way as Bidwill or is he just being agreeable with his new boss? It's a fools game to speculate.
