I've gotten a few questions about this since I labeled a couple of the Cards' picks as slow where other articles listed them as fast. It's all relative. I think BASK may have been among the first to notice the change. With guys now running 4.3+, 4.5 may no longer be fast enough at corner with all these 3-wide sets. 4.6 surely isn't. If you're a press corner with 4.5 speed you'd better get your man at the line or WRs like Smoke & JJ will make you pay big time. Even when playing zone; speed kills. I think that's why the Cards took Williams. You can't teach speed. I've no clue on the later choices. I think WRs can get away with being slower if they're big, strong or run great routes. DBs without speed are rapidly becoming road kill.
