They go away eventually.

Oh yeah? That's good.

I watched 4 eps on the airplane...very funny show. A couple of times it was a little too corny (the other anchor falling down because he saw dana in a dress) but overall, very good show.

Happy to hear the laugh tracks go away...I don't even notice them now, but the pilot it was jarring to hear them...I don't watch any shows with laugh tracks these days.

You had to love the part where Jeremy was interviewing for the show...hilarious.

Adding this show to my DVD list. I like Studio 60 and sports, so I should enjoy this, right?

Sorkin's pretentious meter is only on 6 with SportsNight. With Stupid 60, he takes it to 9.1.

I liked this show when it was on, but I have developed a strong dislike for the actor that starred in this and in Six Feet Under.

I actually think it's WAY better than Studio 60. I like West Wing was too in fact.
I would agree. West Wing is my favorite show of all time. Nothing will ever come near it but I think that some of the production value you Sports Night takes away from its true brilliance as a show and that Studio 60's production adds to its value as a show.

Why? I only have seen a couple of episodes of SFU, and am almost through S1 of SportsNight. What did Casey do to make you mad?

I can't stand him on six feet under. Hate that whole show.

Just finished Season One.

Good ending too, huh? The camera stuff, the break up with Gordon, then Isaac comes back at the end.

I loved the picture at the end and how it fades to black and white, or whatever...great first season!

Yeah, very good ending. Hated Rebecca going back to Steve and breaking it off with Dan...Dan is my very very favorite character on the show (reminds me of my brother in law).

Looking forward to Season 2.

I have about 10 episodes left now. The episode with "the cutman" may have been my favorite of the show...I kept picturing myself watching that broadcast and it made it even more funny.

Dana's plan was stupid, and Pixley is hot so I don't blame Casey. Dan's breakdown was set up well, I thought. Dana's brother story arc was not...it was transparent as we never heard of Dana's brother, nor that he was an NFL player. Guillaume is a wonderful man...he's so great in this show. Sam's addition to the cast is great...when he walked JJ and the suits out of the studio it was awesome. Something good needs to happen for Dan soon though...he's in need. Casey rigging the Internet poll was hilarious, 3 million to 246? Awesome.

I'm really liking this second season a lot.

I totally love the internet poll part.

Dan: Did you stay up all night voting for yourself?

later...

Casey to Jeremy: I stayed up all night voting for myself...at first I just....

I was dying. And the episode ends so great...panning from another big story across the studio and you see the votes still climbing. I just loved how that one ended up.

I'm at home working all week, late into the night, to get a project done, so I've had Sports Night running in the background to keep me company.

One of my favorite moments in the show was after Danny tells Natalie about Gordon and Sally. Then Danny has to tell Casey.

Dan - "Hi."
Casey - "Hey."
Dan - "So I don't really know how to tell you this, but things have changed since we last spoke."
Casey - "Oh yeah?"
Dan - "Well, remember how you didn't want anyone knowing about Gordon and Sally?"
Casey - "Yeah..."
Dan - "Well, that's a thing of the past. And remember how you didn't want anyone knowing about YOU and Sally?"
Casey - "YEAH...."

And it goes on...I forget it exactly...

Anyways, man I love this show.

When I've got nothing else to watch and I want to pass the time, I can pop these DVD's in anytime and never get tired of them.

I just love this show.

Great show...

I've watched them through 10-12 times and I always get teary-eyed at the end :)

Good stuff.
