That is pretty funny. Collmenter sounds like a good locker room guy.

Went with JG and CS today - fun time, even though the Dbacks looked terrible after the Bee delay

Went to the D-Backs/Giants game in Scottsdale on Saturday. Our guys looked pretty good. Is it just me, or did Chris Young bulk up a little?

I was there, first time at the salt river fields. Such a nice facility! Parking is a nightmare though.

I went on Sunday. While i wasn't pleased with parking it wasn't really a nightmare....maybe just a bad dream. :p

I went to the Mariners/Padres game at Peoria. In only 3 at bats, Kyle Seager for the M's had 3RBI's off of two singles and a homerun. My buddy caught a foul ball and gave it to a kid wearing an Upton jersey and D-backs cap. Gotta love spring training!

Excuse me for posting. 3 walks and 2 HRs - don't care if 1st inning or not.

All I am saying is getting worked up over a guys first spring training game is stupid. Tim Lincecum got rocked yesterday, are Giants fans pissed? Most of these guys are trying to get the feel back for their pitches and are not pitching in sequence. If he is getting hit hard in the last week of spring then I would be a little worried (and even then not that much). Getting upset over this is like getting upset at the starters in the first NFL pre-season game.

Spring training isn't about winning. It's about finding and developing the best combinations in time for the start of the season, perhaps some experimenting with pitches and getting eye/hand coordination into playing shape.

Going for the win would only delay that. We've seen in the past that various teams won very few games in spring training, but were ready for the regular season. And vice versa.

Wins when it counts. And what it takes to get there. C'mon team!
