Anxious to see how Robbie does
Robbie gives up a run in 2 1/3 innings in his 40-or-so pitch limit.

The guys in the booth noted that currently, Robbie is ahead of Greinke in the rotation.

'Plenty of time for Torey to decide on that prior to the start of the season.

Especially with the disappointment of the setting of the Suns, it is refreshing to see the D-backs on TV.

Temperatures now in the 70's just in time for Spring Training.

Holland, our new potential closer, gives up a 3-run homer before getting the second out and leaving the game.

There is plenty of time but, pitch by pitch, he didn't look like he was in control.

Time will tell if he can regain his dominance from two seasons ago.

4-0 Cubs after 4.

'Glad to see Jake Lamb looking comfortable playing 1B. He just made a good pick on a throw by Escobar on a good play from 3B.

As a lefty who enjoyed playing 1B when I was younger, I've seen Managers who seem to think that anyone can stand at 1B.

A 1B can receive throws from any of five players on ground balls or bunts and can be a difference maker, especially on throws in the dirt.

I have felt that Lamb's weak fielding at 3B, and its stress, has been partially responsible for his decline at bat for the second half of his seasons.

Steve just said that Silvino Bracho is out of options. The D-backs will have to either put him on waivers or keep him on the Major League roster.

Hopefully, they will choose the former. I see no justification for promoting him, based on his sloppy performances.

I am much more comfortable with Sherfy filling the role of up and down as needed throughout the season.

The D-backs with 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th to avoid the schneid in a 10-2 loss.

D-backs with a big loss in their first televised game. The Suns. It must be the curse of Fox Sports Arizona. Yeah, that's the ticket. :)

Unlike Lamb, Tomas is a stone cold statue playing 1B. I know he is on a huge contract, but there is no place for him.

I like what I see in the young Catcher Varsho. Best base running speed for a Catcher. Solid hitter and good receiver. His father was a major leaguer.
