i'm not so much questioning the "team's" actions, just the league's...i'm really not even botherd by the foul, people sometimes lose their cool and hard fouls happen, he should have been suspended for a game and that should have been it. what bothers me is that you take the rest of the series out of the player's hands. i'm as big of a spurs fan as there is, and i honestly dont like the sun's suspension, it ruins what was an incredible series.

After Game 2, Stoudemire called the Spurs "a dirty team," specifically mentioning Bruce Bowen and Manu Ginobili.

In Game 3, Bowen kneed Nash in the groin, but the NBA decided no suspension was warranted.

After he went back to the bench following Horry's foul, Stoudemire chose to rub it in.

He turned to the Spurs crowd and chanted "Dirty, dirty, dirty."
"Can I get a 'dirty' now?" Stoudemire shouted. "Now, was I out of line?"

I love it!

I completely agree with this.

Also want to add, the inconsistency in the interpretation of rules on the court leads to more altercations than a hard foul. So if you really want to stop these fights from happening, why not call the games by the book. Whether they allow more physical play or not, they need to stick to a consistent level and let the teams adjust. But when the rules are different for different teams and different for each game, it does nothing but ruin an otherwise great game.

The NBA acted like an insurance company trying to weasel out of paying someone's medical bills. According to section 3-b, line 7, we're not obligated to pay for your cancer treatment because you didn't fill out form DD-799.
