Honestly, it does certainly look like he was less than competent coaching this year. I know there were a variety of issues that were out of his control, but a lot of his lineup management seemed arbitrary at best.
no rhyme or reason - that's kinda what i pay attention to - players get a lot of minutes then sit for weeks - i think it was rough on the squad
The push shot is OK. You have to see his practice videos on the Suns website. They show him practicing from three point range and it is horrific! I have better for with sciatic hips.Bur it goes in.
Just like in Shawn Marion's case.
He shoots like someone who started learning shooting way too young and had to shoot from the hips to generate enough power to get it to the rim, and then just stuck with the form. His release point is comically low, even on his push shots.
If he could just learn a hook shot, which is similar to that push shot, perhaps it would give him a better opportunity to score. His dunk form is 10/10!

Plus Marion could make a jump shot. Oso has only been making push shots. Not jumpers. We are talking about two entirely different kinds of shots and ranges. Edge, by a long ways, goes to Marion!
I’ve tried to replicate Marion’s shot so many times and it’s literally impossible. Idk how he shot it at a respectable clip.
Now try to replicate Oso's shot.
It's almost like he is trying to spin the ball backwards and shoot it forward at the same time.
Oso doesn't even try to shoot an outside shot in games. If he can ever shoot like Marion, I will be happy.
