keep nurk far far away from the court - have him wear another one of his wild outfits and have him sit this one out - last thing i want to see tomorrow is nurk getting outran by an 8 foot man

The Suns couldn't guard Wembanyama last season either.

Let's talk about Chris Paul joining the Spurs. It has puzzled me, especially since I found out that Paul starts for the Spurs, unlike in his Warriors stint. Why in the world did Paul want to leave the Warriors for the Spurs? I see two possibilities: he believes Wembanyama's Spurs would win a championship before the Warriors won one again, and wants to ride Wembanyama's coattails (since he, Paul, has no rings of his own). Or...Paul at his age has given up on winning a championship, and joined the Spurs only to mentor younger players. Note that these possibilities are not exactly mutually exclusive: perhaps Paul wants to mentor younger players but hasn't given up chasing a ring. I swear he's as bad of a team-hopping ring chaser as Kevin Durant. No, probably worse.

I also suspect that Paul did not like the Warriors because there, he was too far from being the man. It probably bruised his ego.

And in light of how old and slow Paul allegedly is (Suns fans said that was part of the team's problem in his last days here), do the Spurs have to play at a slow pace with Paul on the court?
