@Kai, why apologize? It's worth talking about.

I think Q is gonna be a pretty damn good player in the league, but an article like this is the reason I don't want to blow our #1 on him. Ed Oliver is gonna probably be amazing, but doesn't fit our situation.

The story this article tells is that we can probably acquire a very solid player to fit our system somewhere down the line in the draft.

Love the two Clemson boys and of course QWill.

Tillery & Simmons worry me. Oliver could be an absolute monster or an absolute bust.
Dexter is a true NT, but I think that Wilkins and maybe even Quinnen could be could DE’s. Tillery shows hot flashes but also cold spells along with his character issues and I think that Simmons’ injury will be the beginning of his demise from the league

I think I’ve been posting too much lately that’s all, the more and more I think about the more and more I believe that Quinnen could be a good 3-4 DE, but wouldn’t live up to his potential/hype. Ed Oliver has pro bowl potential, just not with the Cardinals. I think the only true 3-4 DE is Wilkins

Aaron Donald is playing pretty well as a 3-4 DE. Oliver might be fine as a 3-4 DE. Dockett was able to for awhile.

Kai, the only way to actually tag me is to use an @, otherwise I don't get a notification. That's just a link to my profile details, which I pretty much set up when I was 15, haha.

I'm with you on Q though, I think he's a very interesting player, but I don't really want him at 3-4 DE or NT. I'd actually love Ed Oliver on our team, but I don't think we can justify it at #1. I think he'll be an Aaron Donald though - so it's ironic I don't think he fits the value at that spot.

Agreed.

Wouldn't it be great if freaking Niche could live up to half his potential by being on the field on a consistent basis to go along with any of these guys. Bosa and Quinnen Williams can be great but a lot of the other guys could too, but simply lack the notoriety in the public eye which those two have in big name programs which also has a lot of talent around them. Funny how Lawrence does not get more luv since Clemson has a great team too. This is something I think a lot would agree, if Lawrence or Oliver for instance ended up being the best ones out of this draft it would not be a huge surprise either in the long run... because a guy like Lawrence and Oliver might not register a sack but they can collapse a pocket and result in sacks for others and stop the run, and a offense still has to be able to run to win and it ticked me off seeing teams run on us with ease opening up their offensive playbook
