Two things I gathered form this stroy.

1)Whiz seems comfortable that Kurt will be back.
2) Whiz is not impressed with Leinart.

Huh?

Well if thats the case then I hope its similar to the last time he didn't "have faith" in the starter and allowed a competition.

The reality is if Warner was one and done in the playoffs then the quote would have read "It will be an open competition at QB".

Wiz is just sticking with the company line of competition. If he had that much faith in Pierre again, he would have given him more then 1M and would have done it before FA.

He did do it before FA and why would he give him more than he needed too?

I love ya bud but at this point your going to hear what you want to hear.

Until Wisenhunt decides to cut ties with Matt I am going to go with the company line that he is the QBOF. And pretty much all evidence has pointed to that.

A quote from Pierre about it being an open competition DURING CONTRACT NEGOTAIONS is not going to make me think otherwise.

I think he is the QBOF too, I just feel like being arguementative. I do no however think he is as great as you do, but you already knew that. Carry on.
