Coming from out of town for a game this year - have never been in the new stadium. Just so I know where some of the tickets are .... How many rows are there in the upper level sections? (I don't know if row "20" is mid way up..all the way to the top...? is it the same for the lower level sections? how many rows are there? also, I know in some stadiums, the 1st rows at ground level aren't really that good (superdome comes to mind!) Do you have a recommendation on which rows the decent lower level views start at?
Thanks in advance ...

The top row is 23 on the upper level. I sit up there. We think its fine, but I'm not real picky. I don't know how many rows the lower level sections have but it looks like the lowest level has a lot more than 23.

great .... thanks. Still trying to figure out where in the stadium to try and find some tickets..... I don't mind the upper levels. Are the upper sections in the stadium fairly steep? meaning, do they still keep you fairly close to the field? I've been in some stadiums that the uppers sections are "flatter" and thus really remove you from the field the higher you go....

Stadium Question

I'm an out-of-towner, also. But there is/was a site that gave a virtual tour of the stadium. Might be on this site or the official Cards' site. It was very good and would enable you to see what the view from your seats would look like.

The upper section is fairly steep. It looks like the way they built it, the lowest sections are the least steep and then the angle gets much steeper when you get into the higher sections. Not ridiculously steep-like UofA if you've ever been to their stadium. I find that as long as I don't forget my eye-glasses, because I'm a little near sighted, I can see everything fine, even down at the opposite endzone and we are in the corner. We also like being in the last row, because we'd rather not have anyone behind us. The downside of that, I think a lot of scalpers must own the highest seats because there are often a lot of the other teams fans. But we've never had a problem with them.

Another downside you might look out for, is the sun hits the northeast corner of the stadium, if they open the roof. They only opened it for two day games last year, but apparently the people in the sun thought that it was god-awful. On the AZcards webpage, they used to have a sun-studies guide which showed where the sunlight was. You might check that out. But generally it seems to go from the middle of the east side into part of the corner in the north.

Hope you make it out and get to see a great Cardinals win.

Interesting -- thanks for the tip. What sections are the NE corner?

I think I found the map -- looks like the NE sections are122-125 and those above it....think that's right.

Also, One final question for anyone ... How much time should I plan to get from the Airport area to the stadium ... park ... get in ... get beer ... get to the seats? don't want to get in late .....

thanks to all ...

I would allow at least half an hour to get from the airport to the stadium. Then once there another hour for beer bathroom and general looking around.

Add twenty minutes to get from your car to the stadium (dependant upon whether you get a parking pass and in what section).

If buying tickets online try and get tickets that include a parking pass!
