HAd to go out to the new digs again today... thought I'd throw some tidbits out here for you all.

They were "pouring" the underlay sand/gravel/soil for the field. Man that's a lot of material going down. Can't wait to get the first shots of them laying down the sod.

I was actually pretty impressed by the kids fields that they are doing on the east side, right along 91st Av. Some of the goal posts were up, and the lighting stantions (sp?) were going up. I have no idea what the small field house type building they are putting up is, but they are cranking that out too.

They have the cleaning crews inside, and I am trying to get some pictures of the new locker rooms, but i haven't figured out the exact location yet. (I have a pretty good idea though.)

I think it's kind of funny that they had these two little towers by the north parking area that say "Arizona Cardinals/Sportsmans Park". I just thought that I'd never see that.

I have some new pictures but they are pretty grainy. I'll try and get better ones in the near future. And hopefully I can get some at the traingin facility tomorrow.

Toast the Grass

Thanks for the update. I'm wondering at what point before each game they roll the grass in? I think ASFN should meet as close they'll let us get so we can Toast the Grass. Maybe RW should lead the chant!

OK, so mine aren't that bad... maybe I can get someone to tell me how to resize them so I can get them on here.

Nice info...thanks!

I don't know how many of you realize this, but one other crazy signage-thing that they're going to have are these 35-foot-tall giant gate numbers ringing the outside of the stadium...notice the "1" here:

Someone on the azcardinals.com board mentioned that they heard that there will also be a video board or two for tailgaters to watch the early games as well...

I heard that the field will roll in on Saturday sometime before a Sunday game...

That's actually funny because I was wondering what the conduit and small concrete pedestals were that I almost tripped over today. I'll have to keep an eye on that.

As I said before, if any of you have a specific pic you would like, I'm pretty sure that I can get it. That's why I'm trying to pin point the locker rooms. I want to see just how "high tech" they're going to go with it now that Edge wants wireless.

Yeah...can't wait to see the locker rooms...

More concourse shots are always good...the north entrance, the south bay "flipper" doors (where the field rolls in)...lofts, club lounges...

Whatever you can manage would be greatly appreciated!

They have some of the concourse shut down because they are coloring/painting the concrete. Once they get all the carpet rolls off the floor it should be easier to get some great shots. Plus I can't wait to see the signage for the food, etc. once it goes up. Oh and the "Wall of Fans". I was searching today for it, but it hasn't been started yet. (I want to see where my family picture is at.)

I just didn't think the same old pics over and over would be good enough, but I can get tons of them.
