Zero chance of that. I've been in for a quarter century and can retire whenever I choose. If they give me an assignment, I have seven days to decide whether to take the assignment or get out.

Retire to Arizona? That's crazy talk!

Question: Will the Cards tap into the additional temporary seating that will be available at the new stadium for regular Cardinals games? Personally, I don't see why not. If people are willing to buy the seats, why not sell them?
They won't even be testing the configuration until well into the season. The NFL requires that teams identify stadium capacity for each game at the start of the season, so once they start selling, there's no adding. Perhaps if the season ticket base remains strong enough, they will have the incentive to move those seats in for every game, but for this year, it isn't an option.

I'm still holding out hope that if the season ticket numbers stay strong for a couple of years, that they might put permanent seating in the upper North endzone area, and permanent seats in the South endzone as well - seats that can be lifted to let the field slide in and out.

Raise the capacity to around 70,000...they would still need some temporary seating (in the pedestrian bridge and some other areas) to bring it to 73,000...

Thanks for the information. It makes sense that team's need to identify capacity prior to the year for blackout restrictions, etc. I would think that if the season ticket demand remains strong (and maybe the team makes the playoffs), then they may consider raising the number of seats for next year -- or better yet, raising the number by adding permanent seats to the stadium as Pantone suggested.

I would pay! I was so pissed when they took these guys out of SDS. The only beer left with was the bombers.
