Pittsburgh takes game one.

This is going to be a fantastic series if game one is any indication. So much speed and skill on both teams.

I hope SJ can take it eventually. Jumbo Joe is due.

Game 1 was great. Crosby seems so determined to win this series.

Go Pens!

I hoping SJ can win the Stanley Cup, going to be difficult though.

IF the Sharks win, that would add to the Bay Area championship string. Bleh

These penguins are playing faster than the Sharks right now.

Holy! what a scramble by the SJ Sharks, trying to end this game in regulation.

OT begins. There's nothing like a Stanley Cup Final!
Agreed.
Not surprising that Crosby won the face off that lead to the winning goal for the penguins. I saw a tweet that said that Crosby had won around 80% of his face offs.

Sorry I was wrong... it dropped down to 72% by the end of the game.

Sidney Crosby won 72% off the face-offs in game 2 including the face-off on the game-winning goal in OT. #Penguins #StanleyCup

Totally is. Couture's faceoff win percentage through the playoffs has been 43%. So possibly you, Mr Couture, are just not very good at your job.

Crosby only has a few points in this series, but he's been dominating for 200 feet. Controlling the puck, not getting the least bit distracted by crosschecks, drawing up plays, etc., etc.

Couture might just be following his coach's strategy of whining to the media in hopes of getting bailed out.

Phil Kessel leads *all* @NHL players in playoff goals per game over the past 9 seasons (min. 40 playoff games). @NHLNetwork @penguins

Very good high school friend of mine is married to the uncle of Connor Sheary. Needless to say, they are enjoying his post-season run! ;)

C'mon Sharks, make it a series!

You should reach out to the whole Pens squad, 82! :D

Even though the Sharks are down 2-0, the games have been really good. Both of them were 1-goal games. I don't see how "timing" during a face-off can be considered cheating. The object is to win, and if Sid can do that in the face-off circle in his head, then how is that considered cheating? I'm sure the Sharks are just trying to get to him by saying that. Anything to get an edge. I don't really care either way since the Hawks are gone, but I would love to see the Sharks win it for the GM Doug Wilson, Thornton, Burns and Marleau. Sid has a cup.

#Penguins haven’t trailed over last 242:35 of game play — since Tyler Johnson’s OT winner in Game 5 against Lightning. @NHLNetwork @NHL
Lets change that Sharks, time to get a early lead.
